In the studio…
Selfies are great fun, but if you’d like a more permanent celebration of being together, a studio portrait is the ideal thing.
I keep the sessions friendly and relaxed. I’m aware that many people are not used to having their photos taken. But if you are prepared to give it a go, I’ll help you over that. Every last one of the couples featured here had their anxieties about having their photos taken, but you wouldn’t know it from these star shots.
Whether you are just starting a relationship or you’ve been together for a while, a beautiful portrait photo is a great way to celebrate.
With a short session, we can quickly get a couple of dozen great shots for you to choose from. These can include a variety of backgrounds and poses. Or with a full session, there is time for a change of outfits, and you will end up with 30-40 photos to choose from.
I can turn your favourite photo into a canvas or framed print. You might like all your photos on disc to keep. Or maybe a mini-album of photos from your session.
Engaged couples often use their portrait photos to create a signing book, for guests at their wedding reception to leave messages in on their special day.
… or in the great outdoors…
From April onwards, there is the option of outdoor photo sessions.
There are lots of beautiful locations in the area, depending on your personal preferences.
These are, of course, weather-dependent, and may have to be rescheduled at short notice.
… celebrating you being wonderful you
I’m always happy to guide couples with suggestions for poses, but the very best thing is just of you to be you.
I really don’t mind if this involves messing around, dancing around…
… or even karate and jujitsu!
Relaxed, natural photography at its very best
